The Value of Patience and Perseverance

Believe it or not, I saw this quote in a horoscope today and thought it was message that needed to be shared.  I know that I move so fast, mainly because I have a lot of focus areas between my business, teaching, and my personal life.  I have so many ideas needing to get out that I feel frustrated when this doesn’t happen as quickly as I like.  So finding this quote was timely in that it helped me to slow down and recognize that things don’t always have to happen now.  Have you ever felt this way?

Sometimes, you need to allow situations to occur when they are ready, meaning that you need to acquire the virtue of patience and proceeding slowly, with thought and planning.  It is important to remember, as well, that this waiting does not mean that you lose sight of the end-goal; that is where perseverance comes into play.  Slow and steady is the course; doing something daily will get you closer to that end-goal.  You will savor the reward more deeply as you appreciate your patience and perseverance.
