The Best Laid Plans

Tomorrow is the last day of my blog challenge and while I had every intention of writing a killer post today, the best laid plans often go awry.  I just came back from the emergency animal hospital as my dog, Bailey, could not walk on her back leg.  After a struggle to get her up on her feet, into the clinic, and the worst out of, was very challenging as Bailey is a big dog (105 lbs).  She could not get her leverage on the tile floor.  She is now on heavy pain meds and steroids -and ‘bed rest’ (ha!).  So, there will be no great words of wisdom tonight just gratitude that it was not worse.  I think we have to look for the silver lining when adversity gets  in the way and be thankful for what we do have.  Today, I have my dog.
